These General Terms and Conditions of Sale (hereinafter “the GTC”) govern the contractual relationships between Le Clos Corbier SARL unipersonnel (hereinafter “the Establishment”) and any natural or legal person wishing to book or use the Services offered by the Establishment (hereinafter “the Customer”).
The CGV are applicable to all services provided by the Establishment, in particular Accommodation, Catering, Tastings, Guided Tours and Organized Events (hereinafter “the Services”).
Any Booking made via the site www.lecloscorbier.fr (hereinafter “the Site”), by telephone, by e-mail or directly on site implies the unreserved acceptance of these CGV.
Establishment : Refers to Le Clos Corbier SARL unipersonnel, a company operating Guest House, Restaurant and Wine Tourism Services.
Customer : Any natural or legal person making a Booking or purchasing a Service offered by the Establishment.
Services : All services provided by the Establishment, including Accommodation, Catering, Tastings, Guided Tours and Event Organization.
Site : Refers to the website www.lecloscorbier.fr allowing Customers to consult offers and to make Bookings.
Booking : Act by which the Customer undertakes to use an Establishment Service on a date and under specified conditions.
Benefit : Any activity or Service provided by the Institution in return for payment.
Force Majeure : An unforeseeable, irresistible event external to the parties preventing the execution of the contract (example: natural disaster, health crisis, government decision).
Personal data : Information that directly or indirectly identifies a Customer, collected as part of the contractual relationship.
Le Clos Corbier is a guest house, located at 12 Rue Corbier, 51160 Mareuil-sur-Ay (Aÿ-Champagne), France, operated by Le Clos Corbier SARL unipersonnel, with a share capital of €1000.
The establishment offers the following services:
Lodging : provision of guest rooms for tourist or professional stays.
Catering : catering service in the restaurant “La Table du Clos”.
Tastings and visits : wine tourism services and activities including champagne tastings and guided tours of cellars.
Organization of events : privatization of spaces for seminars, private and professional events.
The terms and conditions are detailed; these activities and services are available on the Site.
Information on tourist activities (examples: guided tours, hikes, workshops, etc.)
The purpose of the CGV is to frame the services provided by the Establishment, located 12 Rue Corbier, 51160 AY-CHAMPAGNE France, as part of the Services offered. They define the rights and obligations of each party (the host and the establishment) regarding the reservation, payment, cancellation, and use of the hotel's services and facilities.
The Terms and Conditions apply to all bookings made with the Establishment for the Services offered. By booking a service, the Customer expressly and unreservedly accepts the terms of the CGV in the version in force on the date of the reservation.
The General Terms and Conditions govern all contractual relationships between the Establishment and the Customer, whether an individual or a company. They apply to all customers, whether they booked directly via our website, by telephone, by email or by any other means of communication.
Any contrary condition, set forth by the Customer or any other entity, is excluded, unless accepted in writing and in advance by us.
In the event of modification of the CGV, those in force at the time of the reservation will be authentic for the Customer. It is therefore recommended that the customer read the latest version of the GTC before making any reservation.
The fact that the Customer makes a reservation with the Establishment, whether for accommodation, catering or the tourist activities offered, implies full and unreserved acceptance of these Terms and Conditions.
When booking, the Customer declares to have read all of the GCS and to accept them in their version in force at the time of booking. This acceptance is materialized by the confirmation of the reservation, whether made by telephone, email, via our website or any other means.
The payment of the deposit or the total payment of the service, whether made online, by bank transfer, or in cash, also constitutes acceptance of these GTC. In case of non-acceptance of the CGV, the Customer is invited not to proceed with the reservation.
The reservation of one of the Services within the Establishment can be made by phone, email or via our official website. When booking, the Customer must clearly specify the dates, the type of service desired (bed and breakfast, meals, activity) as well as the number of people concerned.
The reservation will be considered firm once the Customer has confirmed his choice and the deposit or total payment has been paid within the announced deadline (see payment terms).
To guarantee the reservation, the Customer must provide the following information:
Name and surname of the customer who made the reservation.
Valid email address, allowing the reservation confirmation and any communication relating to the service to be sent.
Phone number to be able to reach the customer if necessary before or during the stay.
All of this information is necessary to ensure that the reservation is taken into account and for the proper management of your stay.
In order to validate any reservation of our guest rooms and in our restaurant, a bank guarantee will be requested.
For our tours and experiences, full payment is required to validate the reservation.
We require full payment of the service to confirm a personalized service (privatization, seminar, private lunch, remote reservation) on estimate. The reservation is changeable or cancellable up to 7 days before the event
Room rates are expressed per night, per room and for 2 people. Breakfast is included in the room rate. Any extra charge (child, extra person) will be charged extra.
Prices may vary depending on season and availability.
We offer fixed menus, à la carte meals and dinner and snack boards. Prices vary depending on the menu chosen and the drinks. A specific rate will be communicated when booking or ordering.
Activity rates (workshops, guided tours, etc.) will be specified when booking, depending on the type of activity and the number of participants.
Prices are available on request and may vary depending on the duration and nature of the activity.
The tourist tax is €0.80 per night and per person (2025 rate), to be paid on site in addition to the price of accommodation.
Minor children are exempt from this.
The establishment offers its customers a selection of Champagnes from the Domaine or in partnership with local partners. Our Champagnes are available for sale on site, to take away or to be consumed on site during your stay. Sales prices are clearly displayed in our sales areas and on the menus. The purchase of Champagne is subject to the same general conditions of sale as those applied to other services, in compliance with the regulations in force on the sale of alcohol.
We accept payments by credit card (Visa, MasterCard, Amex), cash (in euros), bank check and bank transfer.
Online payments can be made via our secure platform (Stripe).
Online payments can be made when booking via our secure payment platform (Stripe), accepting the main bank cards.
One 50% deposit is required to confirm a personalized service (privatization, seminar, private lunch, remote reservation) on estimate.
The balance of the service is payable 1 week prior to the date of the event.
Cancellation free of charge if it occurs 3 days or more before arrival.
Cancellation within 3 days: The stay will be invoiced in full.
In case of a no-show, the total amount of the reservation will also be charged.
Modifying or cancelling meals : Any changes must be communicated 24 hours in advance. After this period, the total amount of the meal is due. In case of no-show, the cost of the booked meal will be charged.
In case of cancellation due to bad weather or unforeseen conditions, the activity can be postponed or cancelled at no cost.
Any cancellation of activity must be notified 24h in advance. After this period, the activity will be invoiced in full.
For private tours or groups of more than 10 people, full cancellation will only be accepted up to one week before the start of the service.
In case of No-show upon arrival (without prior cancellation), the establishment reserves the right to charge for the entire stay or activity booked.
Minimum number of nights : A minimum stay of 2 nights is required for bed and breakfasts during the high tourist season (April — October).
Maximum length of stay : There is no maximum duration, subject to availability. On the other hand, our guest rooms are closed during the night on Sunday.
Arrival and departure times :
Arrival : From 15:00. For any arrival after 18:00, please let us know in advance.
Departure : The rooms must be vacated Before 11 am the day of departure.
In case of availability, it is possible to extend your stay. This extension must be confirmed before 11:00am on the originally scheduled departure day.
The rates applied for the extension are those in force for the period in question, subject to availability.

Breakfast included in the room rate.
Access to common areas: living room, common room for guest rooms, terrace, swimming pool (depending on season), etc.
Bed and bathroom linen provided, with weekly change (or on request).
Additional catering: Snacks offered in the evening upon reservation before 6 p.m.
Special activities: Tasting workshops, guided tours or other tourist activities offered, upon prior reservation.
Host behavior : The host is responsible for the behavior of his guests and for the damage caused by them during their stay (harmful behaviors, non-compliance with house rules, etc.).
Personal items : The host is responsible for looking after their personal items. The establishment declines all responsibility in the event of theft, loss or damage to personal property during the stay.
security : The property takes reasonable measures to ensure the safety of guests and their property. However, the establishment declines all responsibility in the event of accidents or theft in common areas, including the pool or outdoor areas.
Quality of services : The establishment is committed to providing services in accordance with the description, in the best conditions, and to meeting the expectations of the guests within the limits of the services available.
Material damage : Any damage, theft, or damage caused to the property's premises or objects during the stay will be charged to the responsible host, depending on the severity of the damage.
Extinct objects : In the event of the disappearance of an object made available in the room or in the common areas (linen, furniture, equipment), the host will be invoiced for the replacement or repair of the missing objects.
General behavior : The host is committed to respectful behavior towards other guests and staff. Calm and tranquility are essential in order to guarantee the comfort of all.
Noise : Noise pollution must be avoided, especially between 22:00 and 08:00, in order not to disturb the stay of other guests.
Common areas : Common areas should be used with care and respect. Each guest is responsible for the order and cleanliness of the premises they occupy.
Smoke : The establishment is non-smoking. Smoking is not allowed in rooms, in common areas, and near windows.
Domestic animals : Pets are not allowed in the rooms, but are accepted in the restaurant and during the activities offered within the Establishment. However, they must be kept on a leash to ensure everyone's safety.
Toddlers : Our guest rooms are not adapted to accommodate children under 12 years of age, in particular because of the unsecured swimming pool.
Arrival : Guests are welcomed from 15:00. In case of later arrival (after 18:00), please inform the hotel in advance in order to agree on an organization.
Departure : The rooms must be vacated no later than 11 am on the day of departure. Additional fees may apply for late departures without prior agreement.
Schedules : Meals are served at fixed times. Lunch is offered until 14:00. Breakfast is served from 8 am to 10:30am.
Reservations required : Advance reservations for lunch are strongly recommended. Bookings can be made on our website, by phone or email.
Modification or cancellation policy : Any modification or cancellation of meal reservations must be made at least 24 hours in advance. In case of late cancellations, fees may apply.
Meal types : We offer an à la carte menu or fixed menus, including vegetarian options and adapted to specific diets on request.
Specialties : Our specialties include traditional local dishes prepared with fresh products from the region.
Diets : If you have dietary restrictions or allergies, please let us know when booking so that we can adapt meals accordingly.
Food allergies : A list of potential allergens is available upon request.
Take-away meals : We do not allow meals to be taken away or consumed in the rooms.
Types of activities : We offer various tourist and leisure activities, such as wine tastings, of Cellar visits and Sabrage workshop.
Duration : The duration of activities varies between 30 minutes and 3 hours, depending on the type of activity.
Meteorological conditions : In the event of bad weather (rain, snow, extreme weather conditions), the Establishment reserves the right to cancel certain activities to guarantee the safety of participants. Cancelled activities will be rescheduled or a refund may be offered depending on the circumstances.
Unexpected : In the event of an unforeseen event, such as an availability problem or force majeure (equipment failure, unforeseen absence of a guide), we will inform participants as soon as possible and offer an alternative or a partial or total refund if the activity cannot be carried out.
Accidents and injuries : By participating in our activities, the customer acknowledges that some of them involve inherent risks (accidents, injuries, etc.), and agrees to participate under their own responsibility. The Establishment declines all responsibility in the event of an accident or injury occurring during an activity, unless it is proven that negligence on the part of the establishment caused the incident.
Personal insurance : It is highly recommended that the customer has a civil liability insurance covering any damage caused to himself or to others during his participation in the proposed activities. The Establishment cannot be held responsible for material or physical damage suffered by the customer, except in the event of proven fault on his part.
Compliance with safety instructions : The customer undertakes to respect all safety instructions and instructions given by the Establishment or its partners during the activities. Any negligence or careless behavior on the part of the Customer that may result in an accident or damage will be at the sole expense of the Customer.
Civil liability of hosts : Each host is responsible for any damage they may cause to the property, their property, or other guests. In the event of damage, theft or any other damage caused by the host or his companions, the latter undertakes to assume the repair or replacement. It is the host's responsibility to take out personal liability insurance to cover such events.
Establishment insurance : The establishment is covered by a professional liability insurance, which covers the risks associated with its accommodation, catering, and organization of tourist activities. This coverage guarantees the protection of customers against any negligence on the part of the establishment or its staff.
Insurance for the activities offered : The activities offered by the establishment are covered by specific insurance covering the risks associated with their organization. However, this insurance does not cover the customer's personal accidents resulting from careless behavior or non-compliance with safety instructions. Participants are advised to take out personal insurance in case of an incident.
Modification conditions : These General Terms and Conditions of Sale (GTC) may be modified at any time by the establishment Le Clos Corbier, without notice. Any changes will take effect as soon as they are published on the establishment's website or by any other appropriate means of communication. Customers are invited to regularly consult the GTC to take note of any changes.
Impact on existing bookings : Changes to the GTC only apply to bookings made after the conditions have been updated. Bookings already confirmed and paid before this modification will remain governed by the CGV in force at the time of booking, except in the case of a specific agreement between the establishment and the customer for the application of the new conditions.
Definition : In case of Force Majeure (bad weather, natural disasters, strikes, social conflicts, social conflicts, pandemic, or any other event beyond the reasonable control of the establishment), Le Clos Corbier reserves the right to modify, suspend or cancel services (accommodation, catering, activities) without this giving rise to compensation for customers.
Modification or cancellation of the reservation :
If a force majeure event prevents the performance of the reserved services, the establishment will offer the customer a modification of the reservation at a later date or a free cancellation.
In case of permanent cancellation of the reservation due to force majeure, payments already made will be refunded in full, with the exception of non-refundable reservation fees, if applicable.
refund : The reimbursement of payments made will be made as soon as possible, after verifying the situation of force majeure, but may not exceed the amount paid for the cancelled services.
Applicable law : The present General conditions of sale are governed by the French law. In the event of a dispute, the parties agree to submit to French legislation in force, regardless of the customer's place of residence.
Competent jurisdiction : In the event of a dispute, and if an amicable solution could not be found, the competent courts under the responsibility of the establishment's head office (Reims Commercial Court) will have sole jurisdiction to rule on the case, unless otherwise required by law.
Mediation of consumer disputes : After contacting the service [ex: customer, litigation,...] _________ and in the absence of a satisfactory response within a period of [ex: 15 days, 1 month,...] _________, the customer can enter the Tourism and Travel Mediator, whose contact details are as follows:
